GRAPHIC DESIGNER will be working in the heart of Rose Jewellery focused on Creative & Digital Media concept and work with a range of exciting daily tasks such as designing for print and digital media, working with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator as well as working with UX designers and developers.
Role Description:
Designing for print and digital media (web, user interface, user experience):
- Designing for print (flyers, brochures, etc)
- Preparing files for print
- Contribute creative ideas for new and existing project/regular-task
- Staying up to date with design trends and standards
- Support the all team where needed
- Demonstrating layout and typography skills
- Demonstrate skills with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Readiness to work with UX designers and developers
- Create graphics for the advertisement, magazine, print/digital cataloque, and website and other brand-related activities
- Manipulating/editing images for the print and website
- Sourcing images
- Creation and adjustment of digital images
- Content creation (Infographics, Case studies and Whitepapers/Report, etc)
- Draft copy for marketing communications
- Design personalised marketing campaigns
- Print finishing
- Sourcing and writing news articles–if required, and associated images
- Assist on projects and provide basic pre-press design work
- Act as a runner
- Deliver the right brand message through the designs
- Design print-based and digital communication materials for company to professional standards
- Edit and manage the photographic image library
- Create print ready files using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Required to design marketing material and update the company website’s content
- Logo design
- Assist with branding, design and content for presentations and proposals
- Conduct market research
- The role will entail taking high quality pictures and image editing of the pictures
- Responsible for creating content on company platform with guidance from the Marketing Communication Department, or Manager/Superintendet/Executive, or appointed Agency

Technical
- The ideal candidate should have a design portfolio
- Strong MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience in blogging
- Good Excel and Word skills
- Knowledge of HTML, web design and UX
- Have studied graphic design
- Knowledge/experience of Content Management Systems
Technical – Adobe
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Working knowledge of publishing software such as InDesign and Photoshop
- Knowledge and experience of using Adobe Photoshop
- Passion for digital art (using Adobe suite – Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign)
- Knowledge of graphic design (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign)
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
